Project overview
ICW came to Studio Elias needing a modern home for the firm, and their portfolio company E-Star Biotech needed one too. Both sites were designed and built in the same engagement and launched together in August 2024: a clean, credibility-first site for the fund with team, ventures, and news sections, and a science-forward site for E-Star. The relationship kept going after launch, from small content updates to a purpose-built landing page for clinical study recruitment.
The problem
A founder, co-investor, or physician checking out ICW judges the fund in one visit: who is on the team, what have they backed, and does this firm look like it operates at the level of its science. The old site was not carrying that weight, and the portfolio pages did not route visitors to the ventures cleanly.

Full redesign and rebuild of icw.ventures on Squarespace: home, team, ventures, news, and contact
A second full website for portfolio company E-Star Biotech, designed and launched in the same engagement
Ventures section linking the fund to its portfolio companies
Feedback rounds run through a markup tool so the whole team could comment in one place
Post-launch support that has continued for years: team bio updates, science videos, and content changes, usually turned around within a day
A dedicated clinical study recruitment landing page for E-Star's BOLD-HTN hypertension study, built with a HIPAA-compliant third-party form provider so patient information never touches the website

The site launched on Squarespace ahead of the January deadline with its course URLs redirected and the team trained to run the catalog themselves. One Schoolhouse came back to Studio Elias in 2026 with new projects, and their sibling site, the Association for Academic Leaders, was redesigned in the same engagement.

The site itself should not collect it. For E-Star's study recruitment page, the form runs through a HIPAA-compliant third-party provider, so the website stays fast and simple while patient data is handled properly.
